Storm Damage


A severe hail and rain storm pelted us last week. The hail broke out a side window near our front door, damaged the siding, broke screens and pelted our vehicles.  Softball-sized hail slammed surrounding neighborhoods and towns causing more serious damage.

It's been a tough summer in the Midwest.  The Missouri River is expected to go back into its banks in mid-September.  We have only been slightly inconvenienced by the flooding, but others in the city were not so fortunate and will be dealing with the aftermath for quite a while.

  1. Oh my gosh! I'd heard CB got it bad, but I didn't imagine it included your home. The hail looks like what hit KC in April. I'm sorry for you as I'm sure you're dealing with insurance and replacements right now. I hope your cars are not "dimpled darlings."
